had a fun weekend getaway in New York City. It was a great way to let loose and have fun for the weekend. The Hotel in New York City that we stayed at was located in upper Manhattan and was amazing. It had a great view of New York City. The room was amazing it was huge and fit 4 of us adults comfortably. They had flat screen TVs in the living room as well in the bedroom of the suite. They offered a free breakfast in the morning which was great! Saved us alot of money! We went shopping the first day which was amazing and probably spent more then we should have and then the next day we went to a New York Jets game which was so much fun! The fans in New York City are amazing! We hope to make it back soon because there was so much to do and see that we didn’t get a chance to!

If we had to move I would but I wasn’t very keen, it would all be sorted after the interview on Monday my Husband had! I was waiting to hear if he would have to move with his new role he was getting promoted to and we would have to move home. Monday came and I waited by the phone until he range me. I answered and he said he had got the promotion and we would have to move! I tried to sound happy but I couldn’t help feeling a little sad at leaving all my friends to search for jobs coventry would have for me to suit. I cooked us a nice dinner for him getting back home and opened a bottle of wine to celebrate although I really didn’t feel like it if I’m honest! My Husband had been promoted to a Directors position and it would mean we would be quite a bit better off financially but all I could think of was leaving my job, friends and local amenities that I knew well!

We choose to go to Universal Studios in Orlando but were on a budget so we decided to stay at Holiday Inn suites main gate to universal (which is across the street. The room was clean and comfy and only a short walk to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. There was a pool at the hotel which was nice because in Orlando in the summer it is HOT! They even serve food and drinks to you while your are laying out by the pool! We had so much fun on our trip and were able to just enjoy every aspect of Orlando even on a budget! Our teenagers had fun being able to go to Universal Studios and the other parks when they wanted because they were so close. It was an amazing vacation with great weather and great people! We hope to make it back next year and will be staying at the Holiday Inn when we do!
