I Had to Get ADT on Our Urbandale Property

Sunday, July 3rd, 2011

I moved from Los Anegeles, CA to quiet Urbandale, IA. Urbandale is a small town of less than 45,000 inhabitants but they get approximately 2 burglaries a day. This news made me go looking for an Urbandale ADT home security. I looked for ADT because they are the best security system company in my opinion.

When I was in Los Angeles my ADT system saved us from death. Our house got broken into by a gang of 7 teenagers in the middle of the night. Luckily, as soon as they entered the house the high-decibel alarm sounded and the sophisticated ADT alarm system alerted the police (automatically). The cops were at our doorstep within 3 minutes, and all 7 teens were apprehended.

Upon inspection they were found to have box cutters and 4 assault rifles. I’m pretty certain they intended on using those weapons.

We felt lucky that night. Without our ADT system I’m sure the outcome would’ve been a whole lot different.

New Hose Required

Thursday, June 9th, 2011

I have been looking everywhere for some vacuum spares and in particular I have been looking to locate a brand new or a very good condition second hand vacuum cleaner hose for my Hoover telios vacuum cleaner that was given to me by my cousin James. The Hoover telios vacuum cleaner has been going strong for some years now as I have had it for seven years and I think my cousin has had it for a good three to four years before that. He had made a decision with his wife to upgrade the vacuum cleaner to one of those Sebo German built vacuum cleaners which cost several hundred pounds. Sounds Ok if you can afford that amount of money on a vacuum cleaner. Anyway I need the new hose for my vacuum cleaner and wonder if anyone could point me in to the right direction for such a thing?
