Take Your Lady on the Best Vacation

Being a lawyer takes a lot of energy and time out of my life. That’s time I could be spending with my beautiful wife Karen. So, whenever I get the chance to show how much I love her I take her on some all inclusive trip.

Recently, we had one of the best times of our lives on an Las Vegas All Inclusive. The hotel includes so many perks and amenities with these packages I doubt we even saw them all. It’s just nice to give that level of luxury to my wife. I want her to know that she could have anything she wants when she’s with me and wanted our trip to Vegas to be total heaven.

That it was. It’s truly one of the most exciting cities ever conceived on the whole planet. The energy and sensuality is in the air. The best part was seeing the smile on Karen’s face so many times there. We need to go back soon.

I don’t think I’ll ever be able to think of any of the Scottsdale hotels without thinking of the time when I worked as an exterminator. It was definitely the most bizarre job that I’ve had in my life, and I’ve definitely had plenty of strange jobs. I still can’t believe that I ended up doing that for almost six months.

I had just gotten out of college, and started looking for jobs in the newspaper, since it was 1998 and the internet wasn’t as widespread. On a whim, I applied for a job at an exterminating company that mainly worked at the hotels in town. It turned out that it was just me and the owner of the company, who was in his 60′s. We would go to hotels in exterminator suits, and basically spray every room and corridor with bug spray. While doing it, the owner of the company would tell me crazy stories about all the bugs he had seen during the time that he’s owned the company.

Last time, when we went on Europe trip, the trip lasted for about 11 days. We covered England, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland and France. Unfortunately, we could not visit Spain and Italy. Cheetah and leopard are some of the predators you will see on a Golf safari to Namibia. Completely opposite from each other, these two predators are unique in every sense of the way. The cheetah, the fastest land animal in the world. Sleek and built like a greyhound, this lovely cat is being hunted and caught indiscriminately. Due to cheetah’s love for livestock, commercial and communal farmers do not have a lot of patience for them. The leopard, master of the ambush. Much more elusive than the cheetah, the leopard also takes livestock and is shot when found on farming land. Okonjima is one of several Non Governmental Organisations in Namibia that took the plight of these predators to another level. Leopard and cheetah that are caught or wounded are delivered to these organisations and they are then rehabilitated and if possible released back into the wild again. You can witness and experience this on a golf safari to Namibia.

Living It Up in Kaya Valley

My friends and I went on a self catering holiday to Turkey last summer and we decided to choose from a number of absolutely stunning villas in Kaya Valley. We rented a luxurious villa for the six of us for ten days, which didn’t cost us a small fortune as we first anticipated. It fact it was a very reasonable price for the standard of luxury and comfort that we were treated to. We even had our own pool which was most welcome as we were able to have pool side barbecues every night, wining and dining under the clear starlit night. The days were spent walking about the valley and soaking up the spectacular scenery while immersing ourselves in the local culture. Needless to say, everywhere we went, we were made to feel most welcome. The holiday went far too quickly and it was with regret that we left to return to dreary Old Blighty.

When I was a kid, we always traveled during the summer. Now as an adult, I can’t help shake the travel bug. One thing that always troubles me is which travel insurance to get. I know that plenty of people will tell you that getting travel insurance is something that you absolutely must have, but other people will tell you that you don’t really need it. In my experience, with traveling, you can’t ever have enough travel insurance. Last year I went to Canada, and even though that is a safe country and nobody is ever in danger, I still had some problems with my passport and my bus tickets. I lost my bus tickets somewhere, and there was lots of people who were interested in making things as easy as possible. Luckily, my insurance agent was always there willing to help me, so I was easy to get some things that could tide me over until my next trip. Of course, I would always recommend getting travel insurance, because without it, you may never know what you are getting yourself into.

A couple people in my church group have been telling me I should buy some mondial travel insurance. I’m planning this trip to Asia next summer, and I really don’t have much of a destination. I know this sounds like a horrible thing to do, just take off and travel around without really knowing where you are going, but that’s what I intend to do. I’ve heard of several people do this before, and they haven’t had any problems. Most of my friends are pretty conservative, and wouldn’t want anything to happen to me while I’m gone. I’m a singer in church, and I’d be pretty hard to replace. I suppose they are also being good people, because it just wouldn’t do to let your friend wander into some kind of bad situation without being fully prepared. They said they’d even put together a travel fund so I could have some good insurance when I got around to it. I know that’s something that is above and beyond what I should do, but at least I’ll be aware of it when it happens.
