A few weeks ago, a car hit me while I was riding on my motorcycle, and my bike was completely destroyed. All of the custom modifications that I had on the bike were worthless after that happened. Now, I am very excited and happy, because I finally got compensated by the other driver’s insurance company. The motorbike accident compensation solicitor who I got to help me with my case was very helpful. He worked every day to try to get the other insurance agency to compensate me for all of the damages. The driver’s insurance agency was very stubborn and kept refusing to pay me the money, but they finally relented and wrote me a check. I am going to go out and buy a new motorcycle for myself right now with my new money. I just hope that the new one that I get will not get ruined by a negligent driver.

Triumph Motorcycles Jealousy

All of my closest friends from the university own Triumph motorcycles, so I admit that I was jealous when I did not have one for myself. We all met up one day as I wanted them to help me find a great motorcycle. At first, I thought they may have different ideas about brands of motorcycles, but it turns out they all drive Triumph Motorcycles. This made it easy to decide on the brand. The hard part was deciding what model would be best for me. In the end, I went with the Triumph America. This was the perfect choice in a new motorcycle for me.

While there are plenty of Triumph Motorcycles for people to choose from, the one I decided on for myself was the Triumph America. This is a great motorcycle as it provides a lot of power, and I love power! There is an 875cc parallel twin engine in this bike that gives off a howl that I enjoy as well. There is custom chrome on my bike, which makes it shine when I am riding in a group. Many of my friends are jealous of my bike. I told them to trade in their bikes and get this one if they like it so much.

Is It a Scooter or is It a Moped?

The definition in the 2010 Collins English dictionary For scooter and mobed is exactly the same. And that cannot be the case because there are fundamental differences between the two, at least historically if not now.

I think that a good dictionary should at least acknowledge the differences in entomology between the two words. Mopeds for example originally had pedals on them to assist the engine. The idea was that the engine cut out when going downhill, and that the rider would use paddles to assist the engine when going uphill. Now I admit you don’t see much of that these days, but that’s where the word moped comes from.

Scooter is a shortening of the phrase “motor scooter”. It is far more like the mopeds that we see today. It is a bike with an engine attached.

I don’t mind that the dictionary says they are the same now, but I would prefer it if they would take the time to write a short phrase explaining that at one point mopeds and scooters were very different machines. I might go and have a look at the Oxford English dictionary to see if they’ve got it right.
